Op-Ed: Racist Halloween Costumes, Let's Talk About Itby Alizay Chavez '21 Halloween is just around the corner. Do you know what you are going to be? When figuring out what costume you are going to wear stay away from the following costumes, they are considered to be racist. Most people don’t know that most of the following costumes are racist.
While picking out your costume this Halloween make sure that it is not racist or insulting another person's culture or religion. Keep in mind other people's way of life. You wouldn't want someone insulting what you believe in by wearing a costume that is culturally inappropriate.
